    Essential Functions


    Coordinates the creation, development, and final delivery for proposals, statement of qualifications, interview presentations or other materials submitted related to showcase KLJ's skills and capabilities.

    Assists in creating, maintaining, and strengthening the overall brand.
    Participates in capture planning to create strategically aligned design and content for proposal development and related materials.
    Oversees final production of proposal materials, including printing, binding, shipping etc., when needed.

    Responsibilities


    Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and create persuasive proposal content and graphic design elements that effectively convey key messages throughout the proposal, emphasizing KLJ's technical capabilities and expertise.

    Coordinate all aspects of each assigned proposal from start to finish. This includes developing proposal schedules, coordinating reviews and approvals, and ensuring all proposal materials are submitted on time.
    Create and maintain proposal content libraries, including boilerplate text, resumes, and project descriptions.
    Assist in the development and implementation of proposal strategies that align with the overall business goals of the firm.
    Participate in industry events and conferences to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in proposal development.
    Assisting with printing, binding, and shipping materials as assigned.
    Provides quality control review, proofreading, and editing of internal/external materials, and final printing and delivery support.
    Coordinate and gather information to customize materials from multiple stakeholders. Assist in internal and external marketing and communication efforts as a secondary focus.

    Qualifications

    Associate or bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, business administration, graphic design, or related field.
    5+ years of experience in proposal writing and development, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
    Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
    Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
    Familiarity with Adobe Suite software, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and content management systems. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
    Knowledge of the engineering and construction industry is a plus.
