    Job Description

    Field Service Engineers (FSE) are the superheroes who troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation solutions at customer sites within a specific geographic area. They are like the doctors for our machines, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

    Responsibilities:

    • On-site troubleshooting and fixing customer product issues
    • Meeting company response time and service level standards
    • Distinguishing between hardware and software problems
    • Documenting all customer and problem data
    • Elevating product bugs, malfunctions, and design flaws for resolution
    • Providing round-the-clock support
    • Traveling locally frequently
    • Offering backup support in nearby areas when necessary
    • Participating in team meetings
    • Ensuring top-notch service quality, customer satisfaction, parts inventory, and RMA process in the assigned territory
    • Performing software updates
    • Joining field projects as required
    • Resolving customer issues over the phone and providing remote assistance
    • Setting up a home workspace and stocking trunk with parts inventory

    Required Knowledge and Skills

    • Proficiency in Database, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, & Graphics
    • Familiarity with Windows 7, Windows 10, Server SQL Database & Networking
    • Basic understanding of electronics
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills for customer interactions
    • Organizational abilities
    • Capability to lift 50 lbs. to around 5 ft. height
    • Skills in multitasking, prioritizing customer issues, and managing processes

    Note: The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, fulfill the company's insurance requirements, and have a reliable vehicle in good working condition.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Engineering

    Or

    • Associate degree/Technical Certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems

    Or

    • High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems

    Preferred Knowledge and Skills

    • Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics
    • Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous

    Work Conditions

    • Field-based role
    • Travel involved
    • On-call 24/7
