- Estimate the costs of products and/or projects, resulting in models or analyses necessary to obtain approval to proceed, and factor into the business plans, budgets, and other financial planning and tracking mechanisms.
- Analyze program support as it relates to cost and budget and identify and resolve complex issues related to functional resourcing areas.
- Coordinate cost model management and budget analyst activities to evaluate financial data and integrate results into a comprehensive evaluation and report using customized cost model analysis software.
- Support the development of annual and interim cost estimates for new and existing customers to ensure customer requirements are identified for funding.
- Work with program leadership to identify potential funding risks based on historical data, known issues, and a variety of changing support requirements.
- Plan, manage, design, modify, adapt, advise, and decompose financial requirements and business processes relative to the development, implementation, and execution of the IT financial management process and tool(s).
- Support budget analysis for DOD appropriations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Prior DOD budget analysis experience preferred.
- 3 years of experience in cost modeling and budgeting.
- 3 years of experience working with cost model software tools.
- 3 years of experience working with MS Excel.
- 3 years of data analytics experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or Proven Optics preferred.
- Experience supporting GFEBS preferred.
- CompTIA Security Certified
