    Description

    We are working with a growing, family-owned business that is looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe machinist that can program, set up and operate machines with Fanuc style controls using G&M code. If you enjoy a job shop environment and creating custom parts using new machinery, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for

    Responsibilities

    • Setup, program and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts
    • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications
    • Work on HAAS lathes TL-1, TL-20, & CL-1
    • Machine proprietary and custom components to print dimensions
    • Produce repeat machined components for product line
    • Inspect machined components for dimensional accuracy
    • Monitor feeds and speeds of machines during production
    • Review and document production procedure

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3-5 years of experience on CNC lathes
    • Good communication skills both written and verbal
    • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
    • Familiarity with measurement equipment
    • Able and willing to follow instructions
    • Problem solving
    • Able to stand for some time during production runs
    • Basic machine shop math skills
