    International Security Cooperation Specialist Overview

    Bowhead is seeking a dedicated International Security Cooperation Specialist to support the PEOC3N contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the development of requirements, schedules, and prioritization of technical efforts executed to deliver force protection capabilities to FMS partners.

    Detailed Job Description:

    The successful candidate will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to international security cooperation. This includes coordinating with stakeholders, establishing milestones, overseeing deadline completion, managing resources, and assessing and tracking risk.

    • Plan and ensure on-schedule, within-budget project execution from beginning through delivery.
    • Evaluate and identify additional funding needs when required.
    • Work across teams to identify and schedule resources and estimate Labor-Oriented Effort (LOE).
    • Facilitate overcoming obstacles encountered by all teams involved in a project.
    • Coordinate among administrative, technical, programmatic, and customer organizations, leadership, and subject matter experts.
    • Act independently to problem solve and facilitate project completion.
    • Maintain ongoing, active communication with all individuals and organizations involved in a project.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Professional degree and 5 years of related experience. Four Additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-disciplinary team.
    • Capable of working within high-performing teams under tight deadlines, meeting expectations of multiple customers.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Problem-solving for complex project issues.
    • Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals throughout the lifecycle of a project.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
    • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

    Security Clearance:

    A Secret-level security clearance is required, along with US Citizenship, to meet location-specific requirements.
