- College degree preferred

The Area Director of Sales (ADOS) has direct oversight of the sales operation of two hotels.
The ADOS has responsibility for the sales and marketing budget, forecasts, advertising, marketing and business plans, as well as the supervision of a Sales Assistant and/or Sales Manager for two properties.
Additional responsibilities include the accountability for direct sales activities to drive revenues, solicitation and management of key accounts, hiring of staff, training, motivating, managing and coaching for both hotels.
Must have thorough experience/knowledge of professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting and closing. Must possess exceptional negotiating skills and have strong client and community relationship skills.Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor the process of lead management, sending referrals, bookings, setting traces and profiling accounts.
