Our CDL drivers are responsible for safely operating waste collection trucks and providing courteous waste removal services for customers and other Amwaste employees at our transfer stations. Our drivers engage those customers, Amwaste employees and impact their community in a positive way.
Amwaste offers:
Duties & Responsibilities: Our Drivers are responsible for the hauling of waste debris from Company ran transfer stations as well as customers.
The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on their route. This physically strenuous position involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck many times each day. In addition, the position involves lifting (up to pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending.
Our drivers must have safe driving records and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and our customer service department. Our drivers also must accurately complete daily reports and vehicle inspections. They must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures.
It would be beneficial if this person had some heavy equipment operation knowledge and/or experience. We can train you also.
