    Description
    The Southwest Lincoln County Water PUD is accepting applications for the position of District Manager.

    The District is an approximately 2-mile by 8-mile strip of land located between Yachats and Waldport on the Oregon Coast.

    The District has approximately 1,300 service connections and 37-miles of distribution pipeline. The District operates two water treatment plants, four intakes, five storage tanks, and two operations sites.


    The Manager is responsible for 6 full-time employees, for implementing operations, the Master Plan, and other policies, and reports to a 5-member Board of Directors.

    Major capital projects totaling $6.5 million are funded and underway. Experience in grant writing and outside funding opportunities would be essential.


    Preferred Qualifications include bachelor's degree in Water Technologies, Civil Engineering, or related disciple, Water Treatment 2 and Water Distribution 2 certifications with Filtration Endorsement or equivalent, as well as prior supervisory experience of water supply operations.
