Description
OU Health, Oklahoma's flagship healthcare system located in Oklahoma City, is seeking an OB/GYN Academic Hospitalist to join the system as a part of a growing hospitalist program. Applicants are eligible for clinical faculty appointments at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.
The Laborist's primary focus is the clinical care of high-risk obstetric patients at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health. The hospital serves as a statewide referral center, providing high-quality care for patients with a variety of complexity, and is home to a level 4 NICU as well as a large array of pediatric subspecialists.
Laborists will work 24-hour shifts for a total of 7-8 per month including a balance of weekdays, weekends and holidays. OU Health also serves as the teaching hospital for the OU College of Medicine and the Laborist will have the opportunity to teach and interact with residents, fellows and medical students who will be present on the unit assisting in the care of all patients.
