- Provide contract negotiation and administration on a variety of programs, encompassing all phases of the contract life cycle (pre-proposal through contract closeout).
- Collaborate with other department employees, cross-functionally and with program personnel, and establish effective relationships with key customers.
- Assist the Senior Manager in reviewing contracts and related documents to assess the company's risk, recommend mitigation approaches, and ensure compliance with various federal regulations and company policy.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule in accordance with company policy.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company.
- Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- BS/BA in a related field plus 10 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., a Masters Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. The degree must be from a university, college, or school that is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Government and Commercial (domestic and international desirable) contracts experience.
- A strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), with a particular emphasis on intellectual property, government property, formation of proposals, and negotiations.
- Experienced with cost reimbursable, award fee, and incentive fee contracts.
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts.
- Strong communication skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiation skills with clear oral and written explanations.
- Ability to work on a variety of complex issues at one time.
- Experience in developing and implementing negotiation strategies.
- Ability to be a leader with strong conflict resolution skills in a changing environment.
- Business-related Master's Degree.
- CPCM certification.
- Experience with DOD and major Aerospace primes.

Setting: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite
Location: Westminster, CO
Duration: 12 months; possible extension &/or conversion
On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement, with three or more days of each normally scheduled week spent on-site in the primary work location. Travel and local commutes between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
