A health services network in Rockland County is currently seeking an experienced licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Emergency Department as a Nurse Manager. In this role, the Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership for the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Manager (RN) will have 24-hour accountability for the management and long- term planning of the Emergency Department, including

• Providing leadership, motivation and clinical expertise in the management and coordination of the unit to provide quality patient care
• Implementation of the nursing process
• Staff development and enhancement of the quality of patient care specific to the age/development of the patient population and cost containment
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an Emergency Department role/setting
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Previous leadership experience
