- Conduct comprehensive physical and mental assessments of patients.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine healthcare needs.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medical treatments.
- Develop patient treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide counseling to patients and families on healthcare management and medication.
- Maintain accurate patient records and facilitate timely referrals when necessary.
- Perform specialized procedures as authorized by the supervising Physician.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare diagnosis and treatment.
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- ACNP certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
