Training Administrator - Indianapolis, United States - Truck Country
Description
The Training Administrator is responsible for tracking and scheduling all of the company's training programs, this includes parts, sales, and service. This position acts as a liaison between dealership management and the training department. For this position, you will need strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. You should be a problem-solver with time management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Schedule and Plan Classes to keep the training facility productive.
Fill Classes with Students/Techs
Schedule and monitor outside OEM Training (Cummins, Eaton, Sprinter, etc.)
Maintain company LMS (SmarterU) and all Training Records
Maintain all Training Reports
Assist in New Technician Orientation (Training Expectations)
Manage ARC - DTNA LMS
Observe and monitor SSI Goals and Status. Sending needed reports from SSI requirements.
Department Projects as Needed
Develop Surveys and Report Results
Approve and Code Invoices Weekly
Order Office Supplies and requested tools as needed for the Training Center
Answer Training Center Phones
Manage Training Center Room Reservations
Manage Events/Meetings at Training Center
Manage Catering at Training Center
Clean Up Catering at End of Day
Welcome Guests and Visitors and Direct Them
Point of Contact for Deliveries
Assist in Booking Travel for Techs and Trainers. As needed for hotel reservations.
Maintain Communication Board Postings
Organize Office Operations and Procedures
Manage Relationships with outside Vendors and Services for Training Center
Handle Incoming and Outgoing Mail
Support Training Department and staff as Needed.
Additional duties as requested by the manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Be skilled in the following areas:
o Ability to promote professionalism and pride within the work force
o Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities on short notice
o Ability to carry out Company policies and understand proper protocol
o Communicate and listen effectively
o Ability to maintain clear and accurate records
Must be organized, excellent time management skills, professional manner in all facets of customer service.
Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple quotes simultaneously.
Must have prior outside sales experience.
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
