**Job Description**
**New Hire Bonus up to $1,000**
As a **Grill Cook**, you will perform culinary job duties and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area/environment at all times. To ensure our guests receive the highest standards of quality of food taste and presentation Assist lead grill cook and managers in the day-to-day operations.
Prepare food according to specs and stock and keep the kitchen and all areas clean
Assure that the food area is kept clean and food is stored properly at the end of each shift according to health specifications
Ensure that food items are ticketed and dated with employee name to ensure freshness and that stocked items are received and accounted for
Assist in all areas of the grill
Wash all work areas including refrigerator and utensils used and keep trash and boxes broken down and remove to the proper area
Assure all food is rotated and labeled with the date, time, and employee name
Stock all foods in cooler and proper shelves to meet department of health regulations
Record and report all lost food due to spoiling and overproduction
Assist in stewarding duties: washing pots, pans, kitchen utensils, serving bowls, serving dishes, and kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen working area and environment
Help conduct inventory when necessary, especially on high-cost items
**Qualifications**
A team-first attitude
1+years previous culinary experience to include grill and cold prep
High school diploma or equivalent
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
2 + years previous culinary experience to include grill and cold prep
Current food safety certification
