- We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer for our leading banking institution who is committed to delivering exceptional financial services.
- As part of their continuous effort to enhance their information security, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer to join their team and contribute to a Database Activity Monitoring initiative.
- Provide daily production support for Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, Postgres, and DB2 database infrastructure.
- Virtualize databases using VMWare across Windows/Linux (SQL Server), Linux (Oracle and Netezza), and AIX (DB2) platforms.
- Conduct maintenance, patching, installation, and capacity planning for over 5000 databases in a 24x7 environment.
- Solid grasp of relational database constructs, with expertise in at least three of the following platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Netezza, and Postgres.
- Experience with tools such as SQL Server Always On, Oracle Data Guard, Zerto, and disk-based solutions for designing highly available database solutions.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call production support rotation in coordination with offshore support teams.
