This
position ensures that assigned project-based programs are managed effectively by adhering to established schedules, specifications, and budgets.
This position will direct and lead a team of resources and act as the primary point of contact for our Clients and Customers.
responsibilities
of this role may include:
Manages overall program operations
Works with the Sales and BD staff to develop a budget and timeline for projects
Ensures all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing engineering and other teams as needed
Investigates and corrects customer issues and complaints relating to the quality of existing projects
Performs root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements to prevent issues from arising again in the future
Reviews contracts to determine time frames for task completion and procedures for accomplishing them, funding limitations, and staffing requirements
Ensures that customers and/or clients are regularly informed of the status of the program
Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans
Directs and coordinates activities of employees to ensure the contract meets the established schedule and is within contract funding limitations
Prepares status reports using data prepared by Project Analysts
Modifies schedules or plans as required
Assures contractual compliance and adheres to state and federal laws and regulations
Develops and interprets policies in specific program areas, and provides regular updates to Executive Management
Works closely with other Contractors, including Primes and Sub-contractors
Assists in preparing contract proposals and writes contracts and terms conditions
Oversees site surveys
Ensures the accurate procurement of materials necessary for tasking
Assists in recruiting, training, and developing a highly motivated and effective team
Performs other duties as assigned
To
qualify
for this position, you must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant discipline and three (3) years of
program/project
management experience
is required. A
PMP certification
is
preferred.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
