    • Industrial Fire has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager
    • Supply Chain Management to work onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
    The Senior Manager
    • Supply Chain Management will establish the key elements of Supply Chain plans in terms of operations, specific interventions, related costs, and timelines, in line with organizational strategy.

    We are looking for someone that has experience working in procurement, managing buyers, material planning and SIOP process, inventory turn management, and strategic sourcing.

    The Senior Manager
    • Supply Chain Management manages a supply base for PCBA, investment casting, sensors, and glass suppliers with managed volume of around 70 million spent.
    This person will manage/lead a team of 7 professionals.

    Some of the duties will include managing indirect procurement sourcing strategy and driving productivity; establishing logistic and warehouse solutions for the Industrial Fire business; and building strong business partnerships with indirect, logistic, and warehouse suppliers to meet business current and future needs.

    Key ResponsibilitiesOversee production planning, materials purchasing, inventory control, price setting, and supplier selectionNegotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationshipsMeet supply chain KPI i.e., Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), manage material inflation, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), and defective parts per million (DPPM)Lead and participate as SCM lead on New Product Development (NPD) projects; ensure on time and manage material in budget, drive cost outBenchmark procurement processes to develop and implement best practices throughout the businessDevelop new systems and processes in support of Supply Chain strategy.

    Lead collaboration with channel partners, i.e., suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, and customersDirect implementation of large-scale supply chain management-related programs and processes; engage and collaborate with other functions/vendors to support strategic goalsGather inputs on prices of different raw materials from primary and secondary sources; identify opportunities for outsourcing and cost reduction and other related information important to develop the supply chain management strategyProvide inputs on cost-saving opportunities; provide market cost data to formulate the budget for the yearSet frameworks for implementing guidelines on contract developmentManage adherence to import, export, and excise regulations as per complianceManage a team and set objectives in line with overall business strategyBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 8+ years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management2+ years of experience in building and maintaining complex forecasting modelsPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration, operation resource management, manufacturingMBA or master's degreeSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationCPM certificationExperience with electronic components and assembliesTrack record in establishing new supply chain processes for excellenceMRP software tools like JDE or similarManage expectations and influence on all levels of leadershipManage, develop, and motivate employeesAnalyze and resolve problemsEnglish verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal and leadership skills.
