Sells new and used agricultural, turf, and CCE equipment to new and existing customers with a strong focus on understanding and promoting the John Deere Technology Stack.

You'll focus on:

1. Represents the company for the sale of equipment, and technology-based products and services to assigned customers
2. Maintains strong knowledge of the entire John Deere Technology Stack and can demonstrate proficiency
3. Leads customer relationship with a technology focus
4. Embraces the technology / AMS dealership "Mainstreaming" philosophy
5. Works to build TNE's "Precision Enablement Score" via demonstration of the John Deere Technology Stack including on board machine technology and cloud based digital tools
6. Can demonstrate knowledge of customer tech adoption and utilization level by account
7. Strives to attain Trusted Advisor status with customer base through a deep and valuable partnership
8. Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
9. Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
10. Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
11. Knows and follows a defined sales process
12. Works to reach sales goals established with management around individual product segments
13. Closes sales by building rapport with customers and recommends new products and services by evaluating current products and identifying needs to be filled
14. Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management
15. Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
16. Updates and retains relevant customer information such as equipment and operational information in the Anvil CRM (customer relationship management) system
17. Enhances the relationship between the dealership and assigned customers
18. Understands changes in customer's operations or management personnel and helps the dealership prepare for future customer needs
19. Partners with the customer to optimize their operation
20. Attends applicable sales and product training events/seminars
21. Partners with dealership specialists when needed in completing a sale or answering customer questions
22. Promotes, sells, and delivers the value of all departments within True North including IS, Parts, Service, and Sales
23. Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values, and can effectively evaluate those units for trading purposes
24. Assist in the maintenance, organization and appearance of equipment lot and showroom
25. Arrange and park equipment in designated areas of lot and showroom
26. Assist with inventory audits to maintain accuracy of all merchandise
27. Maintains assigned company vehicle and equipment
28. Conducts new equipment field demonstrations

What we are looking for:

1. Sales experience preferred
2. Equipment knowledge preferred
3. Precision Ag knowledge preferred
4. Strong computer skills required
5. Ability to use standard desktop load applications and other organization specific programs
6. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
7. Embraces teamwork
8. Excellent customer relationship skills
9. Strong emotional intelligence skills
10. Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
11. Bachelor's Degree Preferred
12. Good attitude and drive to succeed required
