- Conduct audits of the ISE and ICE in accordance with the approved ISE/ICE Management Plans.
- Conduct audits and surveillances of the DB Contractor in accordance with the Contract, and approved VV Plan.
- Perform oversight on the Contractor's compliance to the CP1 VV&SC Contract requirements and the Verification & Validation & Self-Certification Plan.
- Perform oversight on the ICE/ISE compliance to the ICE/ISE Assessment Plan.
- Coordinate updates to the Verification and Validation Oversight Plan in accordance with the PCM Manual, CMM, and Book 3 Part B Subpart 1 VVSC.
- Facilitate with the Verification and Validation Oversight Manager to provide written notification to the DB contractor as needed.
- Support Safety and Security Certification requirements for the HST Corridor and adjacent railroad pertaining to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
- Provide due diligence review of the Contractor's performance in accordance with the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM) and oversight of Certified Items List (CIL) and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
- Provide due diligence review of all Technical Contract Submittals.
- Confirm that handover activities follow the requirements of Substantial Completion and Final Acceptance under the PCM Manual, CMM, and Book 3 Part B General Provisions.
- Provide support for Certification activities.
- Provide input to monthly reports.
- Understands general principles of transit systems design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Articulate processes and manage progress against defined milestones.
- Organized data management for effective tracking log management.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Exercise judgment and creativity in making decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and correspondence.
- Effectively manage time.
- Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, CMS, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- 2 years as a project team member with experience in administration, design, construction, or construction management.
- At least 1 year of experience working on rail/transit design-build projects.
- Valid California Class C driver's license.

The Verification and Validation (V&V) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of the handover process for design-build projects. This includes developing and managing the handover plan, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed prior to handover.
