    Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor

    Join the Hartford HealthCare team as a Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor, where every moment matters.

    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise and monitor the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift in accordance with nursing standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience, progressive leadership experience, and an active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut.

    This role involves ensuring the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the utilization of the Nursing Process and creating a positive environment for the professional practice of nursing (RN). Additionally, this position ensures activities foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes and patient flow throughout the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and monitor the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift.
    • Ensure the appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
    • Create a positive environment for the professional practice of nursing (RN).
    • Ensure activities foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
    • Existing incumbents as of 3/1/24 must obtain BSN within 3 years of this date.
    • 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience required.
    • Progressive leadership experience.
    • Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required.
    • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed form the American Heart Association (AHA).
