    ABOUT THE ROLE (Senior Analyst, Performance Assessment):

    The Senior Analyst, Performance Assessment, spearheads the DCS program for evaluating performance, encompassing metrics, measurement, and performance appraisal. This role supports all core processes of Disaster Cycle Service (DCS).

    • Develop metrics and measures for DCS processes and programs, and analyze performance data, supporting the interpretation of measurement tools.
    • Lead the creation of data collection and analysis processes for real-time monitoring and enhancement of DCS programs and processes.
    • Establish and maintain performance and evaluation tools and systems to ensure accurate, organized, and comprehensive metrics and performance data.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives within DCS through data collection, advanced analysis, and reporting.
    • Produce and distribute business intelligence, presenting and communicating data, evaluations, and reports.
    • Engage and support volunteers as integral team members of the Red Cross workforce, with specific responsibilities.
    • Provide support during large-scale relief operations when necessary.
    • Lead program evaluations, research projects, and progress monitoring activities driving organizational changes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in statistical modeling, advanced research tools, databases, and data-gathering instruments.
    • Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership, possess experience in report writing and project management.
    • Collaborate effectively with volunteers, field staff, and executive management to develop and implement programs and processes across a wide departmental network.
    • Showcase a track record of successful collaboration, facilitation, and leadership, and possess analytical and customer-oriented traits essential for strategic visioning.
    • Gain practical experience in joining a team with comprehensive knowledge in specific areas, capable of executing complex projects and developing innovative solutions.

    Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as the American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.

    The compensation range for this position falls between $95K to $135K.

    This job posting will remain open for a minimum of five business days, extendable based on applicant pool expansion.

    Salaries at the American Red Cross are tailored to specific geographic locations where work primarily occurs, considering factors like individual skills, experience, and internal role comparisons.

    REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required, with a preference for Six Sigma certification.
    • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent educational background.
    • Management Experience: Not applicable.
    • Skills & Abilities: Profound comprehension of the organization's business processes, industry requirements, strategic planning, tactical execution, project and process management, and business systems development. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Database Applications, and possess teamwork skills.
    • Travel: Some travel may be necessary.
    • *Combining education with general experience can fulfill requirements, with years equating to minimum education and experience years. Physical demands typical of office environments, with operational readiness for unforeseen needs.
