Job Details:
Mercer University is searching for an Associate Director of Student Loan, Default Prevention.
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Loans and University Bursar, the Associate Director of Student Loans, Default Prevention independently administers borrower delinquency and default prevention/management program for the university.
This position will be responsible for the efficient delivery of all student loan default prevent outreach efforts by providing critical and direct oversight.
This position will manage the following:
default prevention workshops; entrance and exit counseling; and provide quality customer service to all students and their families.
Additionally, this position is responsible for the implementation of default prevention initiatives including working with students to prevent student loan delinquency and default, discussing comprehensive repayment options, and increasing financial awareness and wellness.
The Associate Director independently manages Financial Literacy programs to assist delinquent Federal Loan borrowers with a special emphasis on Cohort Default.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of professional experience in financial services, accounting, and/or other directly related experience are required.
