Job summary:
This position will lead design release multiple engine component systems design activities initial concept production achieving program milestones set forth Polaris Development Process PDP. The role involves performing all design related activities emphasizing quality reliability timely delivery cost manufacturability handling level programs ease establishing project development schedule concept production implementation business requirements determining ideal component manufacturing method ensure overall design performance cost conformance creating releasing 3D models detailed drawings perform analyses support above complete their release PTC Windchill preparing preliminary sketches schematic diagrams presentations aid understanding solution engineering problems leading participating design reviews ensure adequate input involvement stakeholder groups analyzing supplier/manufacturing test field problems recommending possible solutions participating peer teams share knowledge expertise coordinating engineering efforts supplier locations before during after production launch ensure specification accuracy accountability co-engineer powertrain components.
