Weddings & Events – Part Time Banquet Server

We are currently seeking enthusiastic banquet servers to join our team at Wedgewood Weddings and Events As a banquet server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our couples on their special day. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every wedding is executed flawlessly.

This position are typically evening shifts on Thursday, F riday, Saturday and Sunday , so it's the perfect fit for students and those looking a flexible part-time opportunity. It's a terrific source of supplemental income without a considerable scheduling commitment.

Responsibilities:

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, decorations, and other necessary items.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to the established service standards of the venue.

Clear tables and ensure prompt removal of used dishes and utensils.

Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about menu items, dietary restrictions, and event details.

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organized banquet environment.

Assist with post-event clean-up and ensure the venue is prepared for the next event.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred, but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment.

A team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The important extras:

As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
