- Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability
- Provide information and advice on drug interactions, side effects, and dosage
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medication to patients
- Counsel patients on medication administration, possible side effects, and expected response
- Monitor patient health and progress in response to drug therapy
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions
- Knowledge of state and local regulations
- License in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice
