- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

- Experience providing technical guidance to a diverse team of engineers on issues related to materials and process engineering

Do you have a passion to learn and test new ideas? Join our team As a Material Science Engineer III, you will be using your skills and expertise to select, develop, and test material solutions for our complex products and technologies. These cover a very wide range from state of the art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll be responsible for the development of material and process specifications and providing guidance to design engineers to ensure that appropriate materials are selected to meet mission requirements. You'll also be involved with the development and verification of strength tolerance utilized in structural analysis of non-metallic and metallic structures/parts and creation of qualification test plans and reports.
