Installation Coordinator

JM Resources is one Philadelphia's largest security and smart home providers serving homebuilders and homeowners. Since 1981, we have provided security monitoring, along with a variety of complimentary smart home technology. Job Summary:
Coordinate and schedule field technicians for each stage of the installation process

Schedule technicians effectively within allocated time and budget


Duties & Responsibilities:
Regularly communicate with builder counterparts including project managers, construction managers and construction administrators

Work and build rapport with builder counterparts to effectively meet their deadlines

Communicate with builder counterparts when conflicts arise

Maintain tech schedule with details of job status, and all pertinent notes

Responsible for document control including obtaining information from field technicians and ensuring all proper paperwork is received prior to closing the job

Updating notes on the project as changes occur, directed from PM, Technicians, or clients.

Following up on projects on hold for updates, Construction updates, and progress.

Assist service desk overflow including speaking with current clients, scheduling service calls and assisting in resolving problems prior to truck roll

This position operates from general guidelines and directions; the individual will receive a high level of supervision

Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers

Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security


Qualifications:

• Communicate effectively

Excellent Planning and organizational skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior scheduling experience is a plus

Excellent communication and phone skills necessary

Computer skills needed, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Customer service experience a plus

Attention to detail, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure

Previous experience with electronic or alarm equipment is a plus
