MUST:
Experienced Radiologic Technologist
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology (CV) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification preferred.
Minimum two years experience in interventional radiology, special procedures, cardiac cath lab or general diagnostic preferred.
Knowledge of over the wire experience
BLS is required but can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Education/Experience:
Must have at least a 2-year degree in Associates of Applied Science of Radiology Technology with an ARRT certification.
DUTIES:
Assists in the performance of various invasive diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures
Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including nuclear medicine and sonography.
Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations, prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
Monitor patients during procedures, operating a C-Arm (within the scope of practice)
