Position: Operating Room Nurse
Location: Edison, NJ
Duration: 3 Months

Job Summary:
The Operating Room Nurse is primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. This includes ensuring appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments. Additionally, the role involves assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in at least one of the following specialties: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotic, or Endovascular Surgery.
• BLS-aha Certification Required. CNOR Certification Preferred.
• Scrub and Circulating Experience Required.
• Epic documentation preferred.
• 1:1 Patient Ratio.
• Must be highly reliable and available to work all days other than those pre-disclosed prior to offer.
• Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.
