    Description

    Selectek is looking for a Project Manager responsible for investigating and implementing large CAPEX investments in new manufacturing technologies, developing project plans and project execution related to industrial automation of manufacturing processes and piloting line transfers from one facility to another. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls. Prepares and utilizes standard project methodologies and tools to manage the triple constraints of: Schedule, Scope and Budget.

    Required:

    Bachelors Degree required, Engineering Degree preferred

    5-10 years' related experience in a manufacturing environment required (Machining/Automation w/ Assembly/ Automation a plus)

    Must have prior Project Management experience; PMP Certification a plus

    Exceptional communication, coordination, influencing skills, willingness for domestic/international travel

    Knowledge of Automation and other industrial technologies

    Job Responsibilities:

    Develops project objectives and prepares project proposals, scope documents and plans; regularly confers with management.

    Determines project specifications, customer requirements, and performance standards; completes technical evaluations, prepares cost estimates.

    Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

    Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

    Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications and risk mitigation.

    Controls project costs by reviewing expenditures and administering contracts.

    Prepares project status reports and issues lists by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending and managing actions.

    Ensures adherence to Group MFG ENG Standards and EH&S requirements during new process and equipment planning and validation. Responsible for enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations with contractors.

    Coordinates arrival, installation, runoff and validation of new equipment including final acceptance and release to production.

    Consults with other Group sites and counterparts on process improvement and sharing of best practices.

    Direct hire at $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary
