- Utilize strong modeling skills in Rhino and SolidWorks for design tasks
- Perform stability analysis (intact and damage) to ensure seaworthiness of vessels
- Conduct structural design using FEA software, with a focus on composite structures
- Predict resistance & propulsion for high-speed craft, employing expertise in this area
- Utilize CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for analysis
- Generate comprehensive technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and design rationale to internal teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience
- Strong modeling skills in Rhino & SolidWorks
- Experience in high-speed/small craft design, construction, and testing preferred
- On-water experience preferred
