    The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for our customers, playing a critical role in our bank's success. By supporting customers with their day-to-day financial needs and building trusted relationships, you will truly make a difference in our customers' lives.

    We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team in Milbridge, ME, working 40 hours per week. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and engaging environment, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute towards the success of the company by recommending additional products and services.
    • Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
    • Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute towards meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
    • Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
    • Be an active participant in, and advocate for, community growth and prosperity.
    • Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.

    This role focuses on obtaining general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, including account opening. An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential for this position.
