Heritage Insurance is seeking a skilled Claims Examiner to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and settle assigned claims in accordance with Best Practices. As a key member of our team, you will provide quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims while managing indemnity and expense exposure.

• Evaluate policyholder applications to determine coverage and communicate effectively with insureds based on facts or allegations of each case.
• Investigate each claim by conducting prompt contact with parties such as policyholders, claimants, law enforcement agencies, witnesses, agents, medical providers and technical experts to determine liability and damages potential.
• Maintain effective diary management systems to ensure timely claim resolution within delegated authority limits.
