- Perform earthwork quantity takeoff.
- Perform water, sewer, drain and other underground utility quantity takeoff.
- Prepare and send requests for quotes to vendors.
- Prepare bid packages for subcontractors.
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Keep complete and up to date set of projects documents.
- Understand the full scope of the project.
- Define subcontractor scope.
- Create vendor and subcontractor leveling sheets.
- Prepare and present takeoffs and subcontractor/vendor pricing.
- Prepare complete site work estimates using software.
- Any other duties or tasks that may be assigned.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- 3-5 years' experience in site work, exposure to underground utility estimating a plus.
- Some CAD experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills

Civil Estimator/Project ManagerThe right candidate will have experience with civil infrastructure projects, and will ideally be versed in quantity take-offs, digitizing drawings, analyzing addendums, notifying the Vendors and Subcontractors of participation in a bid, preparing bid packages, interacting with trade subcontractors and suppliers, submitting RFI's, reviewing quotes, preparing detail scopes, and assessing cost effectiveness.
