Job Summary:
The ideal candidate for the Plant Engineer role should be passionate about helping the Company design and implement processes and projects to improve plant performance and/or meet our customers needs.

Investigate equipment and infrastructure needs issues and work with cross functional teams to coordinate solutions
Design and implement solutions for ongoing issues and validate effectiveness
Create Engineering Notices to communicate new processes and proper operating procedures to plant personnel
Define new plant equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
Define new support equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
Participate on new product launch process
Maintain effective working relationships within/between departments
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Engineering
Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or
Relevant Experience:
Required
4 year degree
5 + years engineering experience in a manufacturing plant environment
High aptitude in plant electro/mechanical systems with a focus on fluid dynamics
Success in planning, executing and managing projects
Strong computer skills to include:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
CAD experience

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences.
Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Precise and articulate written and oral communication. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates individual and group presentation skills.
