    DEFINITION:
    Patient Service Representative welcomes patients to the facility. Assists patients with checking in and out for Physician office visits. Answers incoming phones. Requests, accepts and posts payments for the office visit. Reviews referrals. Assists patients with scheduling appointments for follow up visits. *ZRQualifications


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and policy/ procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems. Excellent customer service skills.


    REQUIRED:
    Referral & phone Experience.


    Highly recommend Bilingual PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Two or more years of related medical office experience.
