Senior Accountant

in their Accounting Controllership Services Department.

This position will interact and coordinate with clients to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions and reporting of results.

What you will do in this Senior Accountant role:
Interact and coordinate with clients to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions and reporting of results.

Maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements,Address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation.

Review discrepancies in data received from clients and requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data.

Interact with departmental and other staff on matters affecting data flow and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.

Accounts payable responsibilities including charging expenses to accounts, recording entries, processing checks, resolving purchase order or invoice discrepancies, verifying vendor accounts, and similar functions.

What you'll bring to the table:

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing all aspects of project administration.

A high level of confidentiality and written and oral communication skills are a must.
Ability to positively and proactively manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and thrive in fast-pace, dynamic environment.

Experience in managing projects and processes effectivelySound critical thinking skills and complex problem-solving abilitiesAbility to analyze and interpret data and reporting from MS Excel, Power BI, Quickbooks, and other sources to create high-level reporting and proposals for internal and external clientsAdvanced knowledge of MS Office products, especially in MS Outlook and MS Excel skills, is a must.

Positive attitude and excellent relationship building and communication skills, both oral and written.
