Summary:

The Credentialed Trainer I is responsible for trainingdelivery, support, and all related tasks associated with theirassigned application(s). The Credentialed Trainer works with thePrincipal Trainers, Clinical Informatics Analysts, ClinicalInformaticists, Health System leaders and Education to assure endusers can use the system. They identify individuals who may needadditional support or training and provide support, as needed. Theyensure that students can use the designated application effectivelyand efficiently. The Credentialed Trainer is credentialed inassigned application(s) and maintains proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Help plan, organize, and teach classes requiredfor the successful implementation and adoption of the electronichealth record
• Collaborate with end users andPrincipal Trainers to ensure build, training, and support isaligned with approved workflows
• Collaboratewith Principal Trainers to ensure coverage for all scheduledclasses and support
• Responsible for classroompreparation, making sure materials are printed and available,classrooms are organized and clean
• Provideassistance in the maintenance of classroom information on onlinelearning modules, assuring accuracy andcompleteness
• Provide onsite end user supportthrough rounding, attending associate fairs and other supportactivities; proactively seek out support needs and provideinnovative ideas
• Work with the provisioningteam to assure associates have completed the appropriate trainingbefore access is granted
• Ability to reviewVisio workflows and articulate the process as it relates todocumentation in the EHR (Electronic HealthRecords)
• Customize and create job aides asassigned, using approved templates, and adhering to standardizedstyle-guides
• Attend meetings, producedeliverables on time, and escalate issues or concernsappropriately
• Complete job shadows, delivertraining, support, and build confidence for endusers
• Function as an advocate for end users byrelaying issues or opportunities for improvement to PrincipalTrainers
• Ability to test and troubleshoot theTraining and build environment
• Trainingdelivery including workflow-based and role-specific class content,eLearning, job aides, and Learning HomeDashboards
• Work under minimalsupervision
• Elevate questions, problems, andsignificant challenges to more senior team members for direction orsubject matter expertise on new or unprecedentedassignments
• Require minimal instruction onday-to-day work and detailed instructions on newassignments
• Make decisions regarding own workon primarily routine cases
• Strongorganizational and communication skills
• Otherduties as assigned by Principal Trainers orManagement

Requirements:

• High School diploma required; Associate degreepreferred
• One+ year of experience witheducation. Healthcare industry education preferred.
• Preferred experience with adult learners,in-person, and virtual training
• Previousexperience as a Credentialed Trainer, End User, Informaticist,Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or Facilitator for one or more Epicapplications is strongly preferred
• Experiencein instructional design, training, using Epicsystem
• Experience with multiple full-cycleimplementations, post-live support, and quarterly upgradeexperience is preferred
• Experience withMicrosoft Office suite including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint,and Word
• Experience or willingness to learnExcel, Teams, Shifts, Tasks, and Listsrequired
• Experience with any industry LMS(Learning Management System) ispreferred
• Proven track-record of successfullydelivering projects on time and withinbudget
• Achieve designated Epic Credentialedstatus within 6 months of hire (or as agreed upon with manager)
• Cross-training in one or more Epicapplications with Credentialed status is expected within one yearof hire (or as agreed upon with manager)
