Job summary
The Field Mechanic/Welder installs and repairs equipment and machinery in industrial facilities by performing various duties including installation, repair, replacement, and dismantling of machinery according to blueprint specifications. The position also involves welding steel materials using arc welding processes to form a permanent bond.Responsibilities
- Install repair replace dismantle machinery according to blueprint specifications
- Act as signal person for A-C employed crane operators to ensure continuity of safety on the worksite
- Use hoists pulleys jacks come-a-longs perform tasks
