About The Role
The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the facility to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all visitors, staff, and residents. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including waste removal, floor care, and general upkeep of public and private areas. The Porter supports operational efficiency by promptly addressing maintenance needs and assisting with logistical tasks such as moving equipment or supplies. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that could impact the facility's functionality or safety. Ultimately, the Porter contributes significantly to the positive experience of everyone who enters the facility by upholding high standards of cleanliness and orderliness.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a porter, janitorial, or custodial role.
Familiarity with safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities
