- Seeking a Design Engineer to support continued design improvements to existing ammunition product lines and work both independently and collaboratively with Marketing, Project Management, and Operations departments.
- $80,000 - $130,000 Annual Base Salary Range Commensurate with Experience Plus $10,000 Sign-On Bonus and 9% Annual Bonus

- Create innovative ammunition design solutions in partnership with firearm, optics, drone, and robotics teams.
- Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced development cycle.
- Take new product concepts through all aspects of the product development cycle ultimately resulting in a producible and innovative product.
- Interface with Marketing and customers to understand and document development requirements encompassing all trade channels of the business (e.g. commercial, law enforcement, international, and military).
- Provide technical support for military, law enforcement, and international proposals.
- Construct design models in 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably using SolidWorks.
- Create design drawings, supervise drafting activities, review, and approve engineering drawings.
- Maintain standards for technical drawings, internal specifications, and related engineering documentation.
- Coordinate prototype build, test, and ballistic evaluation.
- Work with Purchasing to select manufacturing technologies and vendors.
- Identify Quality Assurance requirements.
- Support Sales and Agency Customers by troubleshooting and resolving field issues.
- Make improvements of existing products and investigate and solve problems in cooperation with Quality and Operations departments.
- Engage in and actively volunteer for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
- Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
- Follow all required Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures, comply with all work exposure Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) training requirements, and adhere to company security mandates.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline required
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience related to new, full-cycle product development
- 5+ years of related design experience with small or medium caliber ammunition, ballistics or ordnance strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience with defense contracts and product development desired
- Strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) skillset required
- 3D CAD Modeling experience required preferably with SolidWorks, MATLAB & LabVIEW
- Available to work 100% onsite based at the Jacksonville, AR facility with infrequent travel as required
- Ability to pass full pre-employment ATF drug test and background screening
- Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team and lead, plan and execute
- Ability to meet a high standard and quality of work
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication with complicated subjects required
- Extreme attention to detail with a high standard of organization regarding documentation and record keeping
- Firearm and sports optics experience along with a knowledge of the shooting sports industry strongly preferred
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas
