Quality Engineer
Job Description
Seeking entry level engineers who are passionate about Aerospace and Defense Must have relevant internship experience and a degree in either Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
Perform detailed analysis of customer returned parts and use findings to drive CAPA improvements.
Prevent internal recurring failures and reduce risks by performing root cause analysis.
Validate customer RMAs and issue further actions to improve manufacturing processes.
Supervise a team of six in the final inspection department, providing guidance, coaching, and training.
Represent QA in the material review board (MRB) for internal rejections.
Essential Skills
Internship experience ideally in Quality Engineering (will consider Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc. too)
Proficiency with AS9102 standards.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Some experience with first article inspections and audits.
Familiarity with MRB processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Familiarity with connector lines.
Work Environment
The work environment involves collaborating with a team in the final inspection department. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to aerospace quality standards. The position is integral to maintaining and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $40.00/hr.
