- Ensure consistent preparation and service of all food and products according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Utilize knowledge of basic baking techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing.
- Aid in creating a diverse bread program for the restaurants and bakery, including seasonal specialties.
- Manage tasks like mixing, shaping, baking dough, cleaning machinery, preparing ingredients, and packaging final products.
- Work with the bakery team to meet quality standards daily and provide training and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth.
- Communicate promptly about any issues and adhere to all procedures and standards outlined in the HACCP Plan.
- Maintain and clean kitchen equipment and work area as needed.
- Assist colleagues as needed during shifts.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a restaurant of a similar caliber.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education level required; ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
- Preferably an Associate's Degree in Hospitality or equivalent certification.
- Preferred Food Handlers Safety Certificate.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding documents in clear English.
- Ability to work well in confined spaces, multitask in high-volume environments, and manage high-stress situations.
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment, flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
