Overnight Warehouse Manager

Plans and directs all operational and administrative functions of warehousing operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory control and customer service, with a focus on continual improvement to include researching, analyzing, identifying lean opportunities, process improvements and making recommendations for performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily activity to maximize forecast and delivery of product and parts.
• Responsible for inventory control and facilitate timely investigations and adjustments as well as annual physical inventory.
• Investigates and reports on errors in operations.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement. Evaluate the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, systems, controls and staffing to improve operational productivity, efficient order processing and accurate/timely order fulfillment with high standards for housekeeping.
• Establish and monitor KPIs. Make certain warehouse layout is optimally aligned for maximum efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns. Collaborate with business partners to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of business objectives.
• Enforce safety practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Facility and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of warehouse environment
• 3+ years of supervisor, management, or leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ideally Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Materials Resource Planning (MRP).
• Ability to learn, use and train staff on Shipping Systems.
