    Position Overview:


    As an Industrial Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing and improving existing processes while playing a key role in driving for better productivity and cost effectiveness across the organization.

    You will be identifying and implementing changes to improve employee, facility and system performance while maintaining or improving safety, quality and customer service.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Develop, research, implement and maintain current Warehouse and Labor Management Systems (WMS/LMS) to improve activity within the distribution centers
    Providing engineering support for the facilities/distribution centers
    Maintaining accurate labor standards in accordance with documentation procedures
    Improving work methods through application of Lean techniques followed by deploying the best practices
    Supporting information and technology system deployments and interacting with other functional departments to accomplish projects
    Providing Operations with the necessary support and guidance for improving utilization of resources and cost reduction projects
    Performing analyses, developing metrics and applicable reports
    Utilizing CAD to design and improve facility layouts
    Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
    Warehouse Grocery – approx. 50F – 90F
    Warehouse Perishable – approx. 26F - 60F
    Warehouse Freezer – approx. 0F - -20F
    Warehouse Office – approx. 65F – 75F

    Schedule:
    Monday – Friday
    Standard Business Hours
    Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Experience:
    Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
    Minimum three (3) years' experience in Distribution Industry

    Preferred technical experience:
    CAD and Microsoft Office Suite; complex Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); RF technology and voice technology; simulation software

    Ability to stand, walk and sit throughout your day; Walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile etc;
