Locums Surgical NP/PA Opportunity in Saginaw, Michigan

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team as a Locums Provider. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical experience and be able to work independently.

Schedule

The locum provider will cover two weeks in May 2024, with the possibility of ongoing assignments afterwards. The schedule includes:

Orientation on April 5th
Shadowing dates on April 6th and 7th
Weekend shifts from 6pm to 6am on April 8th-15th, April 22nd-29th, May 6th-13th, and May 27th-June 3rd

Duties

The locum provider will assist with coverage in surgical services, including managing patient admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, and urology. They will also act as hospital-wide first call for all inpatient surgical services, covering general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, urology, and colorectal surgery.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

Strong surgical experience
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills

Compensation

The competitive rate includes malpractice insurance and travel/housing coverage.
