Our team in Greensboro, NC is growing, and we are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician (Tier 2/3) to help us continue delivering excellent service and technical expertise.

Job Description:

As an IT Support Technician at Tier 2/3, you will be responsible for handling complex issues that escalate beyond the initial support level. Your role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems. You will also provide advanced technical support to our clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and minimal disruption to their operations.

Responsibilities:

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, resolving complex IT issues efficiently.

Manage tickets escalated from Tier 1 support and ensure all issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.

Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates.

Troubleshoot network issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity problems.

Work closely with clients to understand their systems and provide customized solutions.

Document technical procedures and create user guides for clients.

Collaborate with the IT team to improve internal processes and enhance customer service delivery.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT support, preferably within a managed services environment.

Strong understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other commonly used software and systems.

Experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routers.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are preferred.
