    Petzl America is currently looking for a CSS Representative to work in our Professional Division. If you seek a long term account management/customer service role; project a positive attitude; are a skillful communicator, in writing, in person and over the phone; possess superior accuracy, proofreading & communication skills; thrive in a fast paces environment; have a strong technical aptitude and have a personal interest in vertical rope access and rescue industries, this could be the position for you.

    The CSS Pro Rep will provide sales support and in-house account management, in partnership with external sales reps, for the North American Petzl Professional Division customer base. This includes phone and electronic communication support to prospective dealers, retail employees, and retail customers. The position will work closely with other territory CSS representatives, independent external sales Reps, and the Pro Division sales team to provide frontline assistance with in-bound orders, product questions, delivery status, technical information, and after sales support. They will develop a strong working relationship with Reps and Retailers in their geographic territories, as well as participate in occasional travel for trade shows and account meetings.

    Some of the tasks & responsibilities of this position are to:

    • Process and manage orders and inquiries about the Petzl Pro line
    • Grow Petzl sales through technical support and education, as well as with persuasive sales techniques
    • Respond to customer concerns regarding orders, distribution, inventory levels, and logistics
    • Develop and maintain an accurate knowledge of the Petzl product line, its usage, and changes, in order to provide technical advice and product recommendations
    • Efficiently communicate about account information, changes in orders, and service issues with both Retailers and Sales Reps
    • Process bids and quotes with high attention to detail
