Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant and Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will help lay the foundation for their lifelong learning and development. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment tailored to infants and toddlers, fostering their curiosity and growth through intentional activities and compassionate caregiving. You will collaborate with a group of like-minded teachers and join a community invested in the optimum development of children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive caregiving by meeting basic needs such as feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring overall well-being.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and positive behavior guidance.
- Collaborate with families to share insights about their child's growth and address any concerns proactively.
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met by adhering to licensing regulations and best practices in childcare.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, childhood development, special education needs, and working with children with disabilities.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers is REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children's routines and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience with caregiving tasks such as infant care routines.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable, as well as ECE completed units.

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
