    Description
    Provide engineering and technical support to the Manufacturing organization to achieve the overall manufacturing goal of consistently producing quality products by addressing major production problems, ensuring optimum manufacturing methods and techniques, and implementing cost improvement programs

    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    1. The Manufacturing Engineer will work towards short-term and long-term business goals.2. Manage and support multiple projects simultaneously across various departments.3. Support and provide technical leadership on assigned projects and tasks.4. Demonstrate leadership in cross-functional teams.5.

    Execute, with some guidance, the analysis/evaluation of various manufacturing processes, equipment, and programs to support increased efficiencies, uptime and safety.6.

    Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments. 7. Effectively communicate and execute customer expectations and company objectives to others.8. Foster trusting business relationships and promote teamwork within own department and between other departments. 9. Assist in driving departmental metrics and improvements.10. Lead the Continuous Improvement activities in several departments, utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools, concepts, and processes.11. Seek and aggressively implement improvement opportunities.12.

    Embraces Continuous Improvement and actively participates both as a leader and contributor to the overall Continuous Improvement objectives and Lean initiatives.


    Other Job Responsibilities:

    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Communication and Presentation Skills
    • Experience with SolidWorks
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
    • Use experience, logic, and reasoning to identify problems and propose/implement solutions
    • Demonstrate personal time management skills.
    • Ability to read and understand technical information including but not limited to: manufacturing drawings, engineering instructions, and material data sheets.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc)
    • Occasionally move heavy parts (<50 pounds) with or without cranes, slings, carts and other handling devices. Follow part handling requirements
    • Support will include up to 25% travel primarily to the DFW areaThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from accredited university

    Preferred, but not required:

    • 5-7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent
    • Experience with tooling and/or mold designs
